Do you think of your time in buckets?
This one's for entrepreneurs, but really, can't we all stand to manage our time more efficiently? Thinking in terms of "buckets" or "hours blocked on the calendar" seems to work for me. Thanks to Michael Cooper at Entrepreneur Magazine for surprising us (or not) with the first few on the list.

I've been using these tips for impressing anyone you meet in 30 seconds from The Muse in all of my networking workshops lately. Being mindful of expectations and using sensory language are things I hadn't thought of much before!
Dumb it down.
Can your grandmother understand your pitch? Your neighbor? Your 8 year old nephew? The key to getting your message across is simplifying it. Don't be afraid to dumb it down. As a matter of fact, it is encouraged!
